Faith Alison Joslyn, age 57, passed away on Monday, February 21. Faith was born in Wilmington, Delaware, daughter of the late John and Pauline Jones.
Faith will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
Faith is survived by her husband Richard, daughter Lauren (Joseph), sister Beth (Dominick) of Newark, Delaware, brother David (Karen) of Worton, Maryland, and brother John (Connie) of Santa Clarita, California; and nine nieces and nephews; Maria, Matthew, Daniel, Heather, Kyle, Allison, Zak, Brooke, and Alex.
Faith was a very kind and nurturing person who took care of anyone she knew in need without question. In more recent years, she tended to both of her parents and her father-in-law as their health declined. Faith was employed by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware for over thirty years and was a devoted member of Ogletown Baptist Church in Newark. In her free time, she enjoyed nature and went hiking with her husband, Rich, at State Parks in the Tri-State area. She and her daughter, Lauren, were inseparable, especially on weekends when they would get their hair done, go shopping, or spend time with Lauren's and Joey's dog, Peanut. She loved the beach and spent many summers with her family in Outer Banks, North Carolina.
A viewing will be held at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Tuesday, March 1 from 10:00-11:30AM, immediately followed by a funeral service.
