Jordon Wade Whitley, 26, of Sandy Hook, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2007.
He was born June 24, 1981, in Ashland, a son of Linda Lawson Whitley of Sandy Hook and the late Randy Whitley. He was of Baptist faith and a pipefitter with a local in Arlington, Texas.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Kim Whitley of Grayson; a brother, Nathan and wife Tina Porter Whitley of Roxanna, Texas; and a niece and nephews, Keri, Kane, Kobi and Kole.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, at Lewis and Ferguson Funeral Home at Sandy Hook. Burial will be in Elliott County Memory Gardens.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was the nephew of the late country singer Keith Whitley and cousin to the late John Whitley.
We will all miss him terribly.
