Christa K. Adkins, 66, of Glen Karn, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

She was born on February 19, 1955, in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Samuel and Doreen (Peden) Lindamood.

In addition to her parents, Christa is preceded in death by her brother, Gary Skaggs.

Christa was a 1973 graduate of Tri-Village High School. She worked for Wayne Hospital as a billing clerk for over 36 years until she retired in 2018. Christa loved to crochet, read books, and simply be with her family and friends. It was not uncommon to find her down at the ball diamonds rooting for her boys and now for her grandchildren. Christa had a heart of gold, because of her caring and giving heart, she was able to be an organ and tissue donor. Her selfless actions will allow others to prosper and her legacy will live on forever.

Christa is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jack Adkins; her sons, Bryan Adkins and Clint Adkins, both of Glen Karn; her grandchildren, Arizona Adkins of Richmond, Indiana, and Bo Adkins of Glen Karn; her siblings, Roseanna Ryder of Arcanum, Ohio, Darrell (Betty) Skaggs of Richmond, Indiana, Tony (LouAnn) Lindamood of New Madison, Ohio, Vickie Wicker of Hollansburg; and Kimberly (Stephen) Cofield of Fountain City, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Christa's life will take place at 5:00 PM on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.

Guests may visit with her family on Sunday from 3:00 PM until the start of the service at 5:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Tri-Village Rescue Services, PO Box 247. New Madison, Ohio 45346.
