GROFFIE LIZZIE TRISHELL was born on July 30,1937 to Mary and Zavis Trishell. She loved the Lord and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.

She was the youngest of three girls and five boys. She was born in Natchitoches Louisana where her and the family later moved to Houston Texas where she started her family.

She was a loving and caring daughter mother grandmother, and very much so family orientated. She had one wish and that was for her family to come together and get along.

She was a faithful member of Tabernacle of Praise Church

Groffie worked very hard to take care of her family, she worked at Van Leer Plastics until she retired. She enjoyed getting to- gethers , where we would meet every Friday at her house and cook, play dominoes and listen to music just have a good time. and how she loved watching her sports and how you could not speak against or walk in front of her rockets or you had to leave, everyone that knew her knew she didn't play if she said it she meant what she said.

Groffie was called home to be with Our Heavenly Father on December 31, 2021. She preceded in death her (father) Zavis Trishell, (mother) Mary Trishell, (brothers) John D, JC, Orvis, Otis, Travis(sisters) Orangelee, Neomi,(her daughter) Gwendolyn and (son) Gregory and (grandson) Sean.

She leaves to cherish her memories Clarence Powell her (daughters) Barbara, Jacqueline, Carmen, and Sandra, her (son) Clinton, a host of(grandchildren) Korlissia, Kenneth Jr, Denise, Christie, La Quette, Alkita, Brandy Vontre, Seavion and Sandra and host of great-grandchildren and great great grand grandchilren and also host of neices and nephews and great neices and nephews and friends.
