Jayne Carroll Blackshear, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 21, 1933 to the late Pete and Elva Gagel.
Jayne was Lutheran by faith and retired from Ford after 26 years as an Administrative Assistant. After she retired, she was the owner and operator of Exotic Pets on Preston Hwy. She was also a member of TOPS, Red Hat Club and Parkland Live Wires. Jayne was an active traveler throughout the world and love boating on the Lake.
Her sister Velma Schifler and brother-In-Law Bud Schifler preceded Jayne in death. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter; a son; a grandchild; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 12pm-6pm with a funeral service at 3pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, Kentucky 40219.
