Bartonville, IL - Glenn E. Stieghorst, 88, of Bartonville passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born on March 9, 1933, in Bartonville to Henry J. and Bernice Schabatka Stieghorst.

Surviving is his wife of over forty years, Connie L. Steubinger Stieghorst; his children, Tim (Kim) Stieghorst of Peoria, Lynn Seiber of Metamora, Andra Jernigan (Tommy) of Syracuse, Indiana, and Chad Cruikshank of Bartonville; one grandson, John (Cari) Pierce; and three granddaughters, Lynsie Pierce and Kathryn and Rachel Stieghorst; and two great-grandchildren, Faela and Gus Peirce.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Stieghorst Jr. and Jack Stieghorst; and one sister, Violet Adams.

He served proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict.

He retired after working over forty years out of the Sheetmetal Workers Local #1. He was a member of the Bartonville American Legion and was also a member of the Masons, Lodge #1112.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
