Mr. William H. "Bill" Womack, Sr., of Cedartown, passed away Sunday, January 10, 1999 at his residence. Mr. Womack was born July 5, 1934 in Polk County. He was an occupation machine tender at Inland Container. He was preceded in death by his father, William Noah Womack. Survivors include his wife Debra Clark Womack of Cedartown; two daughters, Rhonda Gail Wheeler of Cedartown and Kristi Nicole Womack of Cedartown; three sons, William H. "Butch" Womack, Jr. of Cedartown, Gary Wayne Womack of Cedartown and Michael Dewayne "Mickey" Womack of Cedartown;; a stepson, Alan Wells of Cedartown; his mother, Edna Earl Jones Watson; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 12, at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. James Guy and the Rev. J. C. Robinson officiating. Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers included Benny Casey, Pete Glenn, Gray Pettit, Joe Howard, Bobby Womack, Hoyt Worthington. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
