After living in several states, her family moved to Stillwater, OK in 1946, where Pat attended Eugene Field Elementary School, Stillwater Junior High School and Stillwater High School (SHS) graduating in 1954.
Pat attended Oklahoma A & M College for 2.5 years, where she met and married Dale Talkington in 1956. They moved to Oklahoma City where to this union, three children (Mark, Craig, and Jane) were born.
In 1970, Pat and her children returned to Stillwater, where she attended Oklahoma State University and graduated in 1974.
In 1975, Pat married Donald Lee Jackson in Stillwater, OK. Donald also had three children (Donna, Kay, and Jerry Don). Pat and Donald raised their six children, all graduating from SHS. This marriage lasted 43 years until Donald passed in 2018.
Pat was always continually active in Stillwater as a mother, teacher, and member of the First Christian Church. She was also one of the founding members of the SHS Alumni Association & Museum where she served as President. Even after retiring, Pat remained involved with her SHS 54' Class, planning and conducting their reunions.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
