Thomas "Ty" Tharrington, 43, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015. He was born November 22, 1971 in Nash County to the late E. "Dan" and Miriam Abbott Tharrington.
He is survived by his wife,Tracy Turner Tharrington; son, Matthew Tharrington; father and mother-in-law, Gene and Virginia Turner; two sisters, Lee Tharrington Wester, Sonya B. Sumner and husband Allen; two brothers, Danny Tharrington and Joyce Brown, Scott Tharrington and wife Rhonda; brother-in-law, Warren Turner; one niece; two nephews; one great-nephew; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be Monday, September 28, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Barton officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
