Weaverville - Reynolds Robert Revis, 64, of 85 North Buncombe High School Road, died Sunday April 29, 2007, at the Asheville VAMC following an extended illness.
A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. He was employed with the V. A. Medical Center, was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He was a son of the late Reynolds and Marguarite Greene Revis.
Surviving are his two sons, Michael Revis and wife, Candace, of Weaverville and Ernie Revis of Weaverville; grandchildren, Sydney, Shaunna and Hunter Revis.
The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Steve Conard officiating.
