A native of Oklahoma, Overly was raised in Norman. He lived here periodically for the last 15 years. He had been living here four years at the time of his death.
He was injured in a traffic accident here 15 months ago, and never fully regained his health. Before that time he worked at a variety of jobs.
He is survived by a daughter, Shirley Overly, 20 months, and a sister, Mrs. Kay McBay, 416 N Olive.
