Mary was the daughter of Henry Rayburn III and Nancy Barnett Rayburn. She died of typhoid before her twentyth birthday leaving and infant, George, and a toddler. The toddler was my greatgrandmother Sarah Francis Barr. These children were raised beliving that Nancy Mariam Hunt was their mother, and, as a result, Mary Martha was forgotten for nearly one hundred and fifty years. The exact location of her grave is unkown, but we are nearly sure that it is in this cemetery. Although we never knew her, some of us share a special love for Mary Martha.
