Nov 14, 1932 - Oct 22, 2021

Colleen Alls, 88, of Wheeler, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 in Wheeler, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Kelton Cemetery in Kelton, Texas, with Rev. Matt Gary and Bret Begert, officiating.

Burial will be in Kelton Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.

Colleen was born on November 14, 1932 in Romero, Texas to Benny and Millie Davis Robertson. She married Clarence Ray "Hawk" Alls on January 20, 1949. She had worked at Kelton ISD in various positions for 39 years until her retirement in 2020. Colleen had moved to Wheeler in the 1970's from the small town of Channing. She loved to dance, sew, and would make blankets for all her grandkids and great grandkids. Many knew her as Colleen, however, the name of "Big Bird", given to her by her grandchildren, might have been her favorite name to answer to. She was a Methodist and was a member of the Allison Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benny and Millie Robertson; her husband "Hawk" Alls; a son, Ronny Alls; a daughter, Nancy Davis; a brother, Benny Robertson; and by a sister, Ruthie Nichols.

Survivors include her son, Lynn Ray Alls and wife Madge of Twitty; a brother Ralph Robertson and wife Janice of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Leona Holland of San Angelo and Sue Robertson of Colorado; a sister-in-law, Ginger Robertson; 6 grandchildren, Jeri Kay Carter, Neal Ray Davis, Nacy Long, Jordan Bryant, Payton Alls, Jessica Alls; and by 11 great grandchildren.

The family request that any memorials be sent to the Alzheimers Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or to St. Jude's, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
