Charles Stanley Vick (T.C.) or Uncle Chuck to his nieces and nephews of Hurricane, Utah passed away on Friday{, May} 13, 2016 at the age of 64 in a motorcycle accident involving a drunk driver. Charles was born to Arthur Stanley and Rita Helsdon Vick March 30, 1952 in Balham, London, England. In 1955 he immigrated to Toronto, Canada. In 1960 his family joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and moved to Rochester, N.Y. After graduating from Irondequoit High School in 1970, he attended Alfred Tech in Wellsville, N.Y. and received an A. D. in auto mechanics. T.C. joined the Army in 1973 and married Pam Walker in 1974. His first child was born in Germany. Later he and Pam divorced and he married Debbie Jackson in Orem, UT. T.C. moved his family, eventually including 4 more children, to Oklahoma City where he started the first of many careers including semi-truck driver, high school teacher, EMT, and biking tour guide with the BSA for Zion National Park. After his second marriage ended he moved to Utah {to be} closer to his parents and brother, Bryan. He received his B.S. at S.U.U. in Secondary Ed. certifying in Special Ed. and Industrial Arts. Eventually T.C. owned and operated P.C. Wizards Computers in Hurricane. He closed this business due to health problems, but recently he enjoyed driving for the St. George Shuttle Company. He loved golfing, swimming, biking, traveling and riding his motorcycle. T.C. was a tender hearted man who could be very giving. He loved Scouting, helping others with mechanics and was a member of the Hurricane Chamber of Commerce. Just prior to his passing he lived with his dearest friend Jaylene Topham. T.C., we pray that you find peace, rest, and no anxiety in heaven. We all love you. Ride on! Say Hi to Mum and Dad. T.C. is survived by his brother Bryan Stuart Vick, and sister Annette Kukemueller (Ontario, Canada), children Hillary (New York), Amanda, Charlene, Donovan and Kevin (Alaska). A memorial service will be held on May 24, 2016 at 9am at the LDS Church at 155 East 1050 North, Hurricane, UT, with graveside military honors to follow at the Hurricane Cemetery.
