He was borh in North Chicago, 111., and came here in 1973 from Waukegan, 111., where he worked as a machine operator. He was a member of Light of Christ Catholic Church and its Men's Association and Knights of Columbus Colreavy Council 3580, both in Clearwater. He was a 25-year and 3rd and 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Vera M.; a daughter, Jeanette Colburn, Columbus, Ind.; two brothers, Chester, Albuquerque, N.M., and Henry, North Chicago; three sisters, Adelaide Babicz, Sinsinawa, Wis., Margaret Babicz, Waukegan, and Eleanore Davis, Dearborn Heights, Mich.; and three grandchildren.
