Cynthia Sikes Adams, 53, died Monday, August 3, 2009. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday at 2 pm in Jarvis Memorial United Methodist Church. Entombment will follow in Pinewood Mausoleum.

Mrs. Adams, a native of Alamance County, was a graduate of Walter Williams High School in Burlington, NC. She later attended Pitt Community College. Cynthia was an active member of Jarvis Memorial United Methodist Church. She was very passionate about adoption.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
