Ethel Grace Christopher Tipton, 94, widow of Thomas Lee "Jack" Tipton, died Saturday, June 12, 2010. A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Marvin Eugene and Essie Dill Christopher, a retired employee of JP Stevens, Victor Plant and a member of Victor Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters and son-in-law, Sylvia Tipton of Greer and Denise T. and Ben Gillikin of Greer; a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Judy Tipton of Greer; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one grandchild, Tara T. Foltz. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Ken Vickery. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Cox, Jerry Smith, Gary Vaughn, Bruce Taylor, Bruce Howell and Ken Mullins. Visitation will be held 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Monday at the mortuary.
