Virginia Lee Acuff, Age 92, of Powell, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.

She truly exemplified God's love; she was a beacon of light and sunshine to all she touched. She was a longtime member of Glenwood Baptist Church of Powell, where she was very active and enjoyed teaching the younger children's classes for many years. She was a retired cafeteria worker at Powell High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph V. Acuff. They had been married and shared their love for one another for over 71 years. Both had loved to travel and camp and had explored much of this country's beauty. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by daughter, Sandra Acuff; son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Nancy Acuff, grandchildren: Roy Acuff, Jessie Acuff, Sara Bridges (Blake); great-grandchildren: Morgan and Chelsea Acuff, and Brinlee Bridges.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to staff, nurses, and caretakers at The Pointe at Lifesprings.
