They emigrated to Quebec and had six children: Mary Bethel (1785-Aft 1859), Margaret Bethel (1786–1867), Phebe June Bethel (1788–1874), William Bethel (1798–1845), Thomas Bethel (1800–1832), and John Bethel (1802–1859).
