He was born September 27, 1941 in Alleghany County to the late John Lundy and Lillie Mae Sidden Absher.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Absher; daughter, Teresa Absher and daughter-in-law, Becky Absher.
He is survived by his son, Randy Absher and wife Crystal of Sparta.
Interment will be at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Piney Creek.
