Her funeral mass will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Gilman, IL., with Rev. John Balluff officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Gilman, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Redenius Funeral Home. Rosary Rites will be held at 7:15 P.M.
Anne was born on February 26, 1919 in Chicago, IL to Louis & Anna (Sinka) Czene. Her childhood was spent in Chicago. Her first marriage was to William J. Lake on June 26, 1937 in Chicago, IL. He died on February 14, 1947. Anne moved to the Gilman area in 1948. She then married Francis R. Wilson on December 31, 1955 in Gilman. He died on June 11, 1992.
Survivors include one daughter - Ruth Anne Lake McMillan of Piper City, IL. One son - William L. Lake of Kankakee, IL. Six grandchildren Nine Great Grandchildren Pre-decedents - parents, husband, one daughter - Patricia Krones, two sisters - Barbara Fancher and Helen Wasserman , and two brothers - Frank and Louis Czene.
Anne was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Gilman, IL. Also CCW, Altar and Rosary Society, and the Gilman American Legion Auxiliary Anne worked as a nurse for Dr. A.W. Fordyce, Dr. Kendall Rowe, Iroquois Memorial Hospital and Clifton Hospital before retiring in 1984. She also had worked at the Dress Factory and Glove Factory in Gilman. She enjoyed flower gardening, crossword puzzles, reading and Soap Operas. Arrangements by the Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman, IL.
