BUTLER, Doris Marie Winnifred (nee Pepper)...
Surrounded by family after a lengthy illness, Doris Butler passed away peacefully at Chatham Kent Hospital, Chatham on May 27, 2021 at the age of 79.
Beloved wife of the late Donald Butler (2000).
Loving mother to Rick (Linda) Balasin, Rose Marie (Todd) Strom, Catherine "Miki" Butler as well as the late Bob (Deb) Balasin and Andy Balasin.
Grandma to Jennifer, Shaun, Michelle, Amanda, Dawn, and Trevor.
Great-grandma to Kitera, Kendra, Marcus, Mason, Karli, Ethan, McKenzie, Kayden, Helena, Jensen, Damien, Jamie-Lynn, Madison and Jackson.
Predeceased by siblings Roy (Lorna) Pepper, Betty (Gordon) Burse, Elizabeth "Cookie" (Clarance "Lefty") Pratt, and Erma (Lyle) Haskell.
She will be greatly missed by her furry companion, Pepper as well as many nieces, nephews, great-great-grandchildren and other extended family.
Doris was an outgoing, fun-loving person. She was in a 5-pin bowling league, and she really enjoyed playing card games with her family. Our family will be missing our matriarch for years to come.
A private family service will take place on Monday, May 31, 2021 at Pardoville Union Cemetery, Pardoville.
