Mr. George Stephen Barlow, better known as Steve, age 70 of Quebeck, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at his residence.

Steve was born September 27, 1950 in Sparta, Tennessee. Steve was a plumber and electrician. He enjoyed boating and fishing out his back door on the Caney Fork River and he loved to watch movies with a bowl of ice cream. Steve also served his country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his father George Titus Barlow; mother who preceded him in death on December 1, 2020, Jo Ada Yates Barlow; two sons, Richard Barlow and Christopher Barlow; step-son Joshua Miktarian.

Survivors include his wife, step-son, step-daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, and nieces.

Funeral services with full military honors by the Veteran's Honor Guard will be conducted 3:00pm Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-3:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Emery Thompson will officiate. In consideration of Steve's wishes, he will be cremated following his funeral and his ashes will be buried in McElroy Cemetery.
