On May 3rd, 2021, Major Lawrence James Abercrombie began his journey to a galaxy far away. Larry was born on June 27th, 1958 to Milo and Regina Abercrombie in Pullman, Washington, and enjoyed a life full of travel, adventure and love. He earned degrees from San Diego State and Old Dominion Universities, and worked as an analyst in the Army for over 20 years. These experiences allowed him to see the world and live in many unique and exciting places - among these some of his favorites were Germany, Hawaii, the Netherlands, and the Bahamas.

Larry was loved by many, and his memory will be carried on by his wife Pamela Abercrombie; his children Jess Abercrombie, Kendall Abercrombie, Katie Palmer, and Tommy Palmer; his sisters Clary Lee and Suzanne Abercrombie; and his dog Bailey. His humor and gentle presence will be missed dearly.

Larry was an intelligent and organized man, who found escape and joy in music and movies. He particularly enjoyed classic rock, comedies, and military stories. He was an avid sports fan, and also played golf and soccer in his free time.

While we will always "wish you were here," we know that "tis but a flesh wound" in the grand scheme of life and that you are finding peace and light on this next phase of your journey. We love you.
