Born March 24, 1985 at Man, WV he was the son of Thomas and Lisa (Hinkle) Arthur.
David is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Elmer and Ruth Helen Arthur; his maternal grandfather: David Junior Hinkle.
David was a Proud Marine, who served his country with pride. David had worked in various places after coming home from the military. He worked in the coal mines, and at Trogdon's Service Station at Kistler, WV. He also loved cutting grass for many of his friends. David loved playing football throughout his high school years, he also loved to go trout fishing and spend time with his family and friends.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his father: Thomas Arthur of Kistler; his mother: Lisa (Hinkle) Arthur of Neibert; three brothers: Thomas Arthur, Jr., of Kistler, Johnny (Kristen) Arthur of Three Mile Curve, and Chris (Ashley Adkins) Arthur of South Man; four nieces: Cameron and Peyton Arthur of Three Mile Curve, Madalyn and Bella Arthur of South Man; one nephew: Bronson Thomas (Tester) Arthur of TN; maternal grandmother: Betty (Hunely) Hinkle. He leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends that were like his brothers. David had many Marine Core Brothers; he took great pride in being a Marine and serving his country.
Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, August 31, 2021after 6:00 pm at the Mallory Church of God. Funeral services will be held there at the church on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Shawn Walker officiating.
Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at the Donel C. Kinnard State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV with Military Honors. David will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.
His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
