Danny Ray Browning, 71, passed away on Wednesday, the 18th of August 2021, in his home near Winslow, AR.
He was born on the 1st of October 1949 in Lindsay, OK.

He enlisted in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and served his country proudly for 32 years. He was a Russian Linguist and Naval Aircrewman and flew all over the world. He was stationed in Taiwan, Spain, and Turkey, to name a few; he was the Command Master Chief (CMC) at Defense Nuclear Agency, Naval Training Center Great Lakes and On-Site Inspection Agency. His last tour as CMC was at the Defense Language Institute Monterey where he met and married his wife, Kim. After retirement, they settled down in Northwest Arkansas where Dan enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, fishing, golfing, and building computers. He was deeply devoted to God, his family, and his church where he served as discipleship director and adult Sunday school teacher.

Danny was predeceased by his parents, Phillip Eugene and Irene Waller Browning and his brother Rodney Eugene Browning.

Danny is survived by his wife of 21 years, Kimberlee Browning; his siblings Sharon and Phil Motley of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Stephen Browning of Phoenix, Arizona, and Lenora Browning of Katy, Texas; his children: Christopher and Laurel Browning of Salinas, CA, Jeremy and Hershey Browning of Arlington, VA; Ashley and Jully Aldana of San Diego, CA, and Emilee Aldana of Johnson, AR. He was blessed with 4 grandchildren and a wonderful extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday evening, August 24, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Beard's Funeral Chapel, 855 S Happy Hollow Rd in Fayetteville. His service will take place in downtown Winslow at the First Baptist Church at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Graveside and military honors will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah, OK at 3 PM on the same day.
