Liechtenstein Royalty. Born Countess Marie Aglaë Bonaventura Theresia Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau to Count Ferdinand Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau and Countess Henriette von Ledebur-Wicheln. Her official royal title was Princess Consort of Liechtenstein. She was the wife of Hans-Adam II, Prince of Liechtenstein, whom she married in 1967. Together they had 4 children: Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, Prince Maximilian, Prince Constantin, and Princess Tatjana. She is from the House of Kinsky. In 1946 through 1949, she attended school at Ering am Inn and continued her education for 8 years at Lioba Sisters' boarding school at the Wald Monastery in Baden-Württemberg. To improve her English, she spent an extended time at a boarding school in England. Next, she attended the University of Munich, where she graduated in 1961. After a short stay in Paris, to improve her French, she started working as an industrial designer in Germany. She served with many organizations focusing on education, culture, and the arts. She was president of the Liechtenstein Red Cross from 1985 until 2015. She was a big patron of the Verein für Heilpädagogische Hilfe. Princess Marie suffered a stroke on August 18 and died in the hospital in Grabs three days later.
