Margie S. Hoots Case, "Mam," 81, of Hendersonville passed away Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, in the Elizabeth House.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, the daughter of the late Otis and Odessa Hoots, and the wife of the late Johnny T. Case.
She is survived by two sons, Bud Case and wife, Brenda, and Hubert Lee Case of Hendersonville; a daughter, Mildred Johnson and husband, Lee Roy, of Hendersonville; five grandchildren, Brian, Michelle and Shane Ward and Scott and Chris Case; and nine great grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fair Haven Baptist Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Charles Corn will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Brian Ward, Shane Ward, J.C. Ward, Scott Case, Chris Case and Robert Sexton. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Jackson Funeral Service, and at other times will be at Mam's house.
