The work he did is still in existence on Lake Hamilton near Hot Springs, AR. He was later drafted in the Army in 1941 to help fight in WWII. He rode over to England on the Queen Mary, a luxury liner loaned to the U.S. Government. He stated he didn't ride back in such luxury it was a converted cargo ship. He worked in the oil fields and the pipe industry most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, watch tinkering, basket making and whittling. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Stamps, AR.

Mr. Kennedy was a veteran, a father, an honest man, paid his debt, and loved the good old days. He will be missed..
