BASTROP, LA. Funeral services celebrating the life of Carolyn Cecil Bullock will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 1, 2021 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop with Bro. Ferrell Bostick officiating. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 2:00 p.m. until time for services on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
Carolyn Cecil Herlong Bullock was born at Bastrop, Louisiana on February 12, 1951 to the late Clifton Cecil Herlong and Minnie Hamby Herlong Haddick. She passed away, as a result of cardiac complications, on July 30, 2021 at Bastrop, Louisiana. Along with her parents, Ms. Bullock is preceded in death by two infant sons, Steven Eugene Bullock and Timothy Craig Bullock; and her brother, Early Eugene Herlong. Carolyn was a beloved wife and soulmate to her husband, and a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister.
Mrs. Bullock is survived by her husband of 52 years, Terry L. Bullock; her two children, Trinity Lamar Bullock, "Trent" , and his wife, Kristen, and Mindy Bullock Scott and her husband, Matthew. She is also survived by her four granddaughters, Kara Alyssa Olivia Bullock, Trena Lea Cheyanne Bullock, Tessa Juanell Bullock, and Brystal Bella Bullock; her sister, Sharon Herlong Harrell and her husband, Larry; beloved niece, Kristy Vickers and her husband, David; numerous cousins and extended family.
