Cynthia Emily (Miller) Knox, 68, of Denton passed away on Saturday, July 17th, 2021 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton. She was born in Denton to Walton Russell Miller and Carolyn Frock Hallinan Miller on December 28th, 1952. She was a graduate of Denton High School.

Cynthia married Stephen Knox on April 10th, 1980. They were members of the St. David of Wales Episcopal Church. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and shopping; but her real joy in life was spending time with her 6 beautiful grandchildren.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Stephen Knox of Denton, 2 daughters, Amy Lentz (spouse Jay) of Denton, Renee Powell (spouse Caleb) of Argyle, and son Stephen Knox (spouse Megan) of Celina, 6 grandchildren, Kyle Lentz, Jamy Lentz, Ryker Powell, Spencer Powell, Kenzie Knox, and Carson Knox, sister Sandra Strange and sister-in-law Sharon Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents Carolyn and Russell Miller and brother Jeffery Miller.

A memorial service will be held at St. David of Wales Episcopal Church on Saturday, July 24th, at 10:30 am. She will be placed near her parents in the church columbarium.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
