Matthew Olin Adams, 28, died unexpectedly September 26, 2020, in an automobile accident. He was born July 19, 1992, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of David Bard and Mary Grimes Adams.
Matthew graduated from Mason High School, Class of 2010; his preferred sport was Broomball at which he excelled with his twin brother, Jonathan. Following graduation, he attended Indiana University and earned his degree in environmental science. After college, he married his college sweetheart, Anna DeBoer, on October 21, 2017 and they settled in Tipton, Indiana with their three cats.
Matthew was an avid outdoorsman and felt most at home in nature. He excelled as a Sales Arborist who helped grow the business at The Davey Tree Expert Company in Indianapolis. He was a Certified Arborist registered with the International Society of Arboriculture. He also enjoyed working on and riding motorcycles and vintage cars. He was a member of various car clubs in Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Adams (Tipton, IN), his parents, David B. and Mary G. Adams (Mason, OH), his grandparents Carroll and Helen Grimes (Montgomery, OH), his grandparents David K. and Janice Adams (Monroe, OH), his brother David L. (wife Ann and son David, Denver, CO), his twin brother Jonathan (wife Jessica and son Benjamin, Hamilton, OH), and his sister Katie Adams (Maineville, OH).
Due to COVID a private service for the family to honor their beloved Matthew on Saturday October 3, 2020. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Leelanau Conservancy, a special place to Matthew and his family.
