Ann C. Pollard, 80, died June 30, 1998 at her residence. Born March 28, 1918 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late John and Maria Powell Crutcher. She was the widow of Robert W. Pollard. She had been employed by the Council of the southern Mountains and Students for Appalachia. She is survived by one brother, Dudley Crutcher, of Dunedin, FL and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service may be held at a later date.
