Joe served in the U.S. Navy and then worked for 36 years at Point Mugu earning a reputation as an Electronic Warfare active countermeasures expert. Upon retirement from Civil Service he continued his work as a contractor and retired in 2020. He received numerous awards for Electronic Warfare in support of Naval and Marine Corps warfighters.
Joe is survived by his wife Cheryl, daughter Wendy Evans, son Joseph Edward Reiser, stepdaughter Ruthie Barnett Alverez, stepson Stephen Kent Barnett and 10 grandchildren. He was brilliant, loving, generous and the best thing that ever happened to me. Forever missed and never forgotten in our hearts.
