US Marine LCpl Lance Corporal George Edward Naylor was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Marine Corps, LCpl Naylor served our country until December 1st, 1967 in Quang Tri, South Vietnam. He was 20 years old and was not married. It was reported that George died from artillery fire. His body was recovered. George was born on June 27th, 1947 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. LCpl Naylor is on panel 31E, line 021 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
He served with Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Amphibious Forces.
He was awarded The Combat Action Ribbon(CAR), The Purple Heart Medal for his Combat Related Wounds, The National Defense Service Medal, The Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
