She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Simpson of Pace, Fla., Danny Simpson of Crestview, Fla., and Grady Simpson of Grantsboro; one daughter, Margaret Patterson of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Sanford and Davie Brinson, both of Wilmington; one sister, Goldia Coward of Swansboro; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild."
