Beulah D. Wise, 93, formerly of Peoria died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Heartland Healthcare Center in Canton.
She was born June 28, 1914, in Boone County, Iowa, to William and Mae (Duncan) Dawson. She married Carl Wise on June 10, 1944, in Gilmore City, Iowa. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1962, in Peoria.
Also preceding her in death are three brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are her children, William Wise of Midway, Ark., and Sue Darnell of East Peoria; and one sister, Margaret Schumaker of Iowa.
She was a teacher in Peoria Central and Manual high schools for 39 years, retiring in 1979.
Graveside services will be at Parkview Cemetery.
