Ross G. Bruening, AKA Ross the Boss, AKA Saucy Rossy from Mount Carmel, Iowa

Ross loved his beautiful wife, amazing kids and his best friends. He loved tailgating for Husker football games and attending Creighton basketball games. He enjoyed golfing, basset hounds, Happy socks, fishing, summer sausage and buttered buns (which he passed onto Hank). Ross's favorite date nights were going to movies with Allie, especially enjoying superhero Marvel movies and Eric Church concerts.

Despite his fraternity brother past, his last few years he was known for being quite the Disney enthusiast. He took great pride in growing the best yard in his neighborhood. Ross was the best grill master and loved to host family BBQs. He loved going to Gus' sporting events and took great pride in his natural athletic ability. He did have lots of "allergies" including social media, chicken and all vegetables (except for mashed potatoes which he considered "not a vegetable.")

Preceded by:
Mother: Jane (Berger) Bruening

Survived by:
Wife: Allie
Children: Gus and Hank
Dad: Wayne Bruening
Brother: Ryan
