Charles Edwin Calverley, age 88, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, May 18, 2021 in Terrell, Texas. He was born April 30, 1933 in Forney, Texas to Charles Alvin and Willie Mae (Willmon) Calverley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joann; an infant daughter Sandra Dee; and a sister, Linda.
He is survived by three sons, Charles E. Junior (Chip), Stephen and wife Nancy, Richard and wife Lisa; one daughter Catherine (Cathy) and husband Ralph Smith; one brother, Leonard Calverley and wife Paula; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Charles and Joann met while during service to our country through the United States Air Force.
