Saul E. Bryant, 94, passed away April 24, 2021 at Greenleaf Healthcare Center. He was born March 2, 1927 in LaGrange, IN to Floyd & Nora (Laughman) Bryant.
On June 20, 1948 he married Phyllis Hartman; she preceded him in death on December 21, 2020 after 72 years of marriage. He was also preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter-in-law, Jane Bryant, 4 siblings, Virginia Scott, Ernest Bryant, David Bryant and Kenny Bryant.
Surviving are 3 children, Saul Bryant, Jr., Diana (Glenn) Duncan and Michael Bryant. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Sara (Jason), Josh, Merritt, Tonya (Brad), Derek (Taylor), Jennifer (Ricardo), Ross, 3 great-grandchildren, Garrett (Kristen), Cameron, Gracie and 1 great-great-grandson, Kellen.
Saul was a WWII Veteran serving in the United States Navy. He retired in 1989 from Elkhart County where he was a truck driver for over 37 years. Saul was also a member of the at D.A.V. # 19, where he like to go. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, gambling and attending his grandkids sporting events.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral. Home. Burial will follow with Military honors in Prairie Street Cemetery.
