Aurelio G. Adames Jr. went home to Jesus on May 7, 2021 at the age of 78 at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Aurelio was born to the late Aurelio Sr. & Maria (Garcia) Adames on January 4, 1943 in Sweetwater, Texas.

He leaves behind his wife, Lupe Adames; and his four daughters, who meant the world to him: Monica & husband Israel Vera of Sweetwater, Laura & husband Danny Carrion of Roby, Stephanie Trahan of Sweetwater and Annie & husband Ruben Moreno of Roby. He is also survived by his brothers, Ray Adames, and Benny & wife Connie Adames of Abilene, TX; and his lovely sisters, Lupe & husband Lupe Duran of Abilene, TX and Linda & husband Rumaldo Sepeda of Joshua, TX.

He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Greg Trahan; his brothers, Manuel Adames, Sr. and Joe Adames Sr.; and sister, Josephine Argumaniz, all of Sweetwater, TX.

He was a lifetime resident of Sweetwater, TX and a self-employed contractor. Daddy kept himself busy with small jobs, enjoying all his free time with his daughters and grandkids, Jordan, Isabel & Jake Carrion, Dylon and spouse Allison Adames, Ian & Anthony Moreno, Sara & Hanna Vera and Kamren Fuller, Greg Trahan, Jr. and great-grand kids, Carsyn & Reagan Adames & Aiiden Rivera.

Holy Mass of Christian Burial for Aurelio Adames will be on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Father Nilo Nalugon will be officiating service.

There will be a rosary on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Carrion, Dylon Adames, Ian Moreno, Israel Vera, Danny Carrion, Ruben Moreno. Honorary Pallbearers are Anthony Moreno, Jake Carrion, Hanna Vera, Isabel Carrion and Sara Vera.
