Amy attended Flour Bluff High School and graduated in 2013. She enjoyed singing in the school choir and was an athletic trainer all four years. She was known to passionately serve others and would make it a priority to serve in her local church, The Summit, where she sang with the praise and worship team as well as fed the hungry. If others had a need, it wasn't uncommon for Amy to drop her plans and step in to help a friend, even if it meant staying up late to help a friend make last minute Christmas treats for a work party. For those who knew Amy, they knew her contagious smile and her joy that would light up a room, but they also knew she wasn't afraid to stand up for herself, even if that meant throwing the first punch. Having three brothers, she was not afraid of most things and was known to endure the hottest of peppers whenever challenged. She never backed down.
Amy made her way to Conroe, Texas in 2017, where she fervently worked two jobs as a Healthcare Provider at Med Assist and Dairy Queen. She was very proud of her work and called family often to share her stories.
