Ronald Bruce Messner left this world at the age of 71 and stepped into the loving arms of Jesus on April 26, 2021 following a brief illness.

Born September 8, 1949 in Copley, Ohio. Ron graduated from Copley High School in 1968. An advocate of finance and higher education, Ron volunteered his service as Chairman of the Board at Integrity Federal Credit Union after accomplishing his personal goal of Master's degree in management from New England College. He retired from the City of Norton in 2020. A loving husband, father and grandfather, Ron will also be remembered for his passions for spending time with his family, of reading and studying the Bible, hunting, fishing, manicuring his lawn and as an amateur radio enthusiast.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents Keith and Esther Messner. He is survived by his loving wife Julia of 49 years; children, Amy (Jason) Saragian, Timothy Messner; grandchildren, Isaac and Ian Messner, Liam Saragian; brothers, Lowell Messner, Tom (Kathleen) Messner.

Friends may call at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home-Norton, 3250 Greenwich Rd. on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Grace Church-Norton, 3970 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd., at 11:00 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Private burial at Copley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to www.rahab-ministries.org in memory of Ron. Rahab Ministries is a faith-based ministry devoted to rescuing and restoring victims trafficked into sexual slavery and exploitation.
