Saltillo- John Allen Kyker, 77, died Saturday, November 7, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born May 26, 1943 to Cornice Allen Kyker and Velma Sarah Burtram Kyker in Birmingham, Alabama. He was raised by his mother and step-father, Charlie Jackson in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from Ribault High School. In 1975, he married the former Barbara Foster and together they have four children. John served his country faithfully in the United States Marines. After the military he had a long career in sales and retired from Dial Corporation. John enjoyed watching Alabama Football and loved spending time with family especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by four children, Kenneth Charles Kyker (Patti) of Helena, Alabama,Kymberly Kyker Morris (Brett) of Piperton, Tennessee, Andrea Kyker Jones (Mike) of Guntown, and Rachel Summerlin (James) of Wesley Chapel, Florida; grandchildren, Nathan Kyker, Matt Kyker, Hope Kyker, Jackson Morris, Logan Jones, Bella Jones, Roman Summerlin, and Hadley Summerlin; great grandchildren, Adeline Kyker and Micah LaVallete; siblings, Bonnie Cason and Charlene Rose both of Jacksonville, Florida; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and son-in-law, James Summerlin who will deliver the eulogy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cornice Allen Kyker, Velma and Charlie Jackson; brother, Joseph Jackson and sister, Velrese Johns.
