Nickolas Andrew "Nick" Carey, 22, of Royston, passed away at Athens Regional Medical Center after an accident in Madison Co. GA.

Nick was the son of Alton Lee Carey, Mableton, and Patricia Gail Andrews Carey, Carnesville.

He was employed as an installer for Hart Telephone Company and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Carnesville.

Funeral services were held August 12, at Liberty Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill Stacey, Roger McCoy and Allan Cole officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

In addition to his parents, Nick is survived by his wife, Heather Diann Stockton Carey, Royston; sister, Gina Carey Sorrells & grandparents, Horace and Edith Andrews, Carnesville, and Carlton and Agatha Carey, Royston; and step-mother, Maria Carey, Mableton.
