Written by Gary's sister and best friend, Joyce Hadley-Proffer:

My Buddy
The tears are dry now, except now and then,
When I have a need for my very best friend
We loved each other in a special way,
That can't be replaced or taken away.
We grew up so close, we were like one,
In thoughts and dreams, and what was fun.
Every picture of us, you're bound to see,
His little hand hanging on to me.
And though he's gone,there'll come a day,
When we will be together to stay.

Gary was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, no matter how short the time.

Thank you to Susan from MA for sponsoring this very special memory.
