I met Ernest at a local vet office where I was taking my cats. He was a vet tech at the time and very knowledgeable and courteous. After he had an accident that fractured his back, he found other employment at Resurgens Orthopaedics Austell, as he could no longer lift the animals over 10 pounds.
Our friendship continued as we both had horses and other animals. He came by to look at my horses and I would share vegetables with him from my garden. He loved all animals.
While working toward Atlanta, he was in a car accident, which took a lot of time for him to regain his strength and abilities.
He was a barrel racer and competed with Dink for many years. Ernest was a good friend to all who knew him. Gone too soon, my friend.
