Alan Jones Moore, age 23, of Cedartown, passed away Monday, May 11, 1998. Mr. Moore was born September 29, 1974 in Floyd County and was employed as a welder with Steel King. He was preceded in death by his father, James Harold Moore. Survivors include his wife Regina Moore of Cedartown; a son Tyler Alan Moore of Cedartown; a daughter, Jane Moore of Cedartown; his parents, Jane and Vance Frew of Cedartown; grandparents, Mrs. S. B. Liveoak, Sara Sargent, Mr. And Mrs. Howard Green and Mrs. Charles Holland, all of Cedartown; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 14, 1998 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Gammage Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Benefield and the Rev. Bruce Farrant officiating. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers included Dylan Jackson, Phil Bedford, Jon Taylor, Josh Casey, Mathew Taylor and Bryan Spann. Honorary pallbearers were Jody Clemmons, Brent Clemmons, Derrick Clemmons, Howard Hass, Billy Millholland and Kevin Brown. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
