Shawna Stephens was born August 11, 1964 in Glendale, CA and raised in Eagle Rock, She was a descendant of the earliest settlers in the Grants Pass, OR area, the Savage, Sloan and Borough families. Shawna graduated from UCLA and earned Master's Degree's from Vanderbilt. She was a Special Education Teacher for 21 years in the Beaverton School District. Shawna loved reading, travel, family, friends and her students.
Survivors include her husband Matthew Allen; brother Dennis (Donna) Stephens; and nephews Spencer, Chris, Kevin and niece Hilary.
