Lamar Andrew “Andy” Pfannenstiel, 74, passed away surrounded by his daughters at Oxford Medicalodges on Sunday, March 7, 2021.

Memorial services will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Oxford Funeral chapel, private inurnment will take place at a later time at the Oxford Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Medicalodges of Oxford, contributions may be left in the care of the Oxford Funeral Service.

Andy was born on May 21, 1946 in Wichita, KS to mother Alberta Pfannenstiel, they eventually moved to Salina where he attended high school. In 1971 he was united in marriage to Tamara Deines, the couple later divorced; Andy married Virginia Grob in 1987, they later divorced. He mainly worked in warehousing, and also worked at Case Manufacturing and in the housekeeping department of the Potawatomi Casino. He enjoyed playing poker video games, reading and watching westerns and mysteries. Andy moved to Oxford, KS in 2003 and attended the Oxford Christian Church, he enjoyed playing dominos at the Friendship Center and making people laugh.

He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Hagar (Todd), and Viranda Pfannenstiel; grandchildren: Anthony Hagar (Francie), Devin Hagar, and Aaron Hagar (Mattison) and 6 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son Michael Pfannenstiel.
